Australia vs Afghanistan:-Australia kept their semi-final hopes alive with a 4-run win over Afghanistan in a do or die match. The hosts have reached the second position in the points table of Group 1 with 7 points. Australia, batting first, had set a target of 168 runs to win against Afghanistan with the help of a half-century from Glenn Maxwell. Chasing this score, the Afghan team could only manage 164 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Australia’s net run rate after the win over Afghanistan is -0.17.
