Vasant Panchami Puja: The festival of worship of Mother Saraswati i.e. Basant Panchami (Basant Panchami 2022) will be celebrated on 5 February (Friday). This day is very important to please Maa Sharde. Especially students must worship Maa Saraswati because she has been called the goddess of learning, knowledge and wisdom.
Know when the festival of Basant Panchami is celebrated every year
The festival of Basant Panchami is celebrated every year on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magh month. This time Basant Panchami 2022 is falling on 5th February, Friday.

On this day, Goddess Saraswati is worshiped and her blessings are obtained. This day is also the day of mother Saraswati’s birth, that is, on this day Saraswati Maa appeared.
Worship Maa Saraswati like this
On this day, yellow clothes, yellow flowers, gulal, akshat, incense, lamp, scent etc. are offered to Goddess Saraswati. According to the scriptures, on this day, Goddess Saraswati appeared on a lotus with a veena in her hand and holding a book. The wishes of all the devotees are fulfilled by worshiping the mother duly. Devotees appease the mother by worshiping her.

Students should worship the mother duly on this day. Mother Saraswati is the goddess of learning, so she should be pleased by worshiping her. Students take bath on this day and wear yellow or white clothes. After this, install the idol or idol of Maa Saraswati at the place of worship. According to the scriptures, one must keep the idol of Lord Ganesha along with Goddess Saraswati at the time of worship. Lord Ganesha removes all evil thoughts and makes them skilled in knowledge.
This is the auspicious time to worship
The festival of Basant Panchami is mainly celebrated between sunrise and noon on the fifth day. Wearing yellow colored clothes on this day is considered auspicious. This time Triveni Yoga is being formed on Basant Panchami. The Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Magh month will start from 03:47 am on Saturday, 5th February, which will continue till 03:46 am the next day, Sunday, 6th February.
The auspicious time of worship will be from 07:07 to 12:35 in the morning i.e. for 5 hours 28 minutes.
Siddha Yoga will be there from 7:10 am on 4th February to 5:40 pm on 5th February. At the same time, from 5:41 pm on 5th February, the next day on 6th February, till 4:52 pm, there will be an attainable yoga. Apart from this, due to the auspicious combination of Ravi Yoga, Triveni Yoga is being formed on this day.
