Chelsea vs Malmo : Chelsea traveled to a 4-0 success over Malmo FF in the Champions League on Wednesday as strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were constrained off through injury.
Lukaku left the game at Stamford Bridge on 18 minutes with a lower leg injury after he was brought down inside the case, while Werner limped off not long before half-time holding his hamstring.
Chelsea vs Malmo :Chelsea overwhelmed the match from the beginning with Werner passing up on a glaring chance from inside the six-yard box on six minutes when he misconceived a bored cross from Lukaku.
Protector Andreas Christensen compensated Chelsea after a spell of early strain, volleying the ball past Malmo goalkeeper Johan Dahlin following a whipped cross from safeguard Thiago Silva. It was the Denmark global’s first objective in quite a while for the club since making his senior introduction in 2014.
Midfielder Jorginho changed a punishment over to twofold his side’s lead after Lukaku was brought down as Chelsea kept on directing the game.
Manager Thomas Tuchel’s side broadened their lead further when midfielder Kai Havertz chipped substitution goalkeeper Ismael Diawara before Jorginho scored his second punishment of the night on 57 minutes.
The success leaves Chelsea in runner up in Group H, three focuses behind pioneers Juventus, who beat Zenit St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
