Dev Prabodhini Devotthan Ekadashi will be celebrated on 14th November only in the auspicious combination of Kartik Shukla Paksha Ekadashi, Poorvabhadrapada Nakshatra, Harsh Yog, Vav Karan. They are taken and the gods wake up on the Ekadashi of Kartik Shukla Paksha. These days, the custodian of the world, Shri Hari Vishnu, is sleeping in Kshirsagar, which is woken up by the women’s sisters by reciting worship, after sleeping for four great years, on this day itself, the caretaker of the place, Shri Hari Vishnu. And all the deities get up from their sleep.
According to astrologer Pandit Hriday Ranjan Sharma, the festival of union of Lord Vishnu’s form Shaligram and Mata Tulsi, Tulsi Vivah is celebrated on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month according to the Hindu calendar. Tulsi Shaligram marriage will be done on this day.

‘Bhishma Panchak’ fast will also start
In the Puranas and Hindu religious texts, the special significance of ‘Bhishma Panchak’ fast in the month of Kartik has been said. This fast begins on the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Kartik and continues till the full moon. Bhishma Panchak is also known as ‘Panch Bhikhu’. Kartik bath has been given great importance in religious texts. Therefore, all the people who take a Kartik bath observe this fast. This fast was observed by Bhishma Pitamah, hence it became famous as ‘Bhishma Panchak’.
