FabIndia : Here are a few comments made by Twitterati which filled the pattern #BoycottFabIndia on Twitter, after which the brand eliminated questionable posts.

In a strange development, Netizens started to hammer Fabindia over its new Diwali assortment named Jashn-e-Riwaaz. Insulted by the name, some Twitterati appear to be profoundly harmed by the ‘Abrahamisation’ of the Hindu celebration of lights.

“As we invite the celebration of adoration and light, Jashn-e-Riwaaz by Fabindia is an assortment that wonderfully gives recognition to Indian culture,” the brand tweeted on October 9, uncovering its Diwali assortment and most recent element in Vogue India.

While some reprimanded the brand for advancing their new assortment with an ‘unseemly’ title, others went to the degree of calling the brand out for taking bindis off the temples of models in banners advancing, ‘over evaluated’ attire.
