But talking about the 12 players selected for the first test, only 4 players who played the World Cup are included in it. That means 7 players are out. Apart from Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan is also included in the team. Babar and Rizwan performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup.
Hasan Ali and Afridi also found a place
Fast bowlers Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi have also found a place in the Test team. Hasan Ali was trolled a lot after dropping the catch in the semi-final. He had dropped the catch of Matthew Wade of Australia. After this, Wade gave the team a thrilling victory by hitting three sixes in one over of Afridi. Australia later won the T20 World Cup title as well.
Pakistan’s team is currently at number three in the World Test Championship. Bangladesh team, on the other hand, has not played a single match so far. Team veteran Shakib Al Hasan is not playing the first Test due to injury. He did not even appear in the last matches of the T20 World Cup.
