Pakistan Cricket Board always remains in controversies for one reason or the other. According to some reports, Misbah-ul-Haq resigned because Chief Selector Mohammad Wasim had chosen the team for the T20 World Cup without his knowledge. Talking about Asif Ali, he played only 4 T20 matches for Pakistan from 1 January 2020. During this he scored 13 runs. 7 runs were his highest score. Talking about his T20 International career, he has not been able to score a single half-century in 29 matches. Has scored 344 runs at an average of 16 and has a strike rate of 124. Because of this, questions are being raised about his selection.

Pakistan’s all-rounder wanted to keep 39-year-old Shoaib Malik in the captain Babar Azam’s team. But the selectors refused, saying that he was older. But 40 years 325 days all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez was given place in the team. Hafeez’s performance in the last two years has also been satisfactory in T20 Internationals. He has scored 521 runs in 24 matches at an average of 37. Scored 4 fifties. At the same time, Shoaib Malik got a chance to bat in just 2 innings and he scored 72 runs at an average of 72 with the help of a half-century. Hafeez also took 6 wickets during this period.

Khushdil’s strike rate is very low according to T20

26-year-old Khushdil Shah has also got a place in the World Cup team. Talking about the T20 International career of this left-handed batsman, he has been able to score only 130 runs in 9 matches. During this, his strike rate is only 109, which is very low in terms of T20. Left arm spinner Khushdil has not got a single wicket. Even after this, he has been selected for the World Cup. Pakistan’s team is in the same group as India in the World Cup. He has to play the first match against India on October 24. Both India and Pakistan have won the T20 World Cup title once each.
