Uddhav Thackeray | Removes Maha CM Shinde as Shiv Sena Leader Over ‘Anti-Party’ Activities

Uddhav Thackeray : In a letter addressed to Shinde, Thackeray said that the previous had deliberately surrendered participation of the party.

Shiv Sena boss Uddhav Thackeray on Friday, 1 July, eliminated the new Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde from the post of pioneer in the party.

“Therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me as the Shiv Sena Paksha Pramukha, I remove you from the post of Shiv Sena Leader in the party organisation,” Thackeray added.

In a letter addressed to Shinde, Thackeray expressed, “You have been enjoying hostile to party exercises and have likewise deliberately surrendered your enrollment of Shiv Sena.”
Prior on Friday, Thackeray had said that Shinde couldn’t call himself a Shiv Sena boss pastor subsequent to ‘leaving’ the party. “He isn’t a Shiv Sena boss pastor. You can’t forsake Shiv Sena and profess to be a Sena boss clergyman,” he said.

While Shinde has claimed to be the leader of the Sena, arguing that Thackeray’s camp is now in a minority, he has never claimed to be the party chief (Paksha Pramukh).

Thackeray had surrendered as the central pastor of Maharashtra on Wednesday, 29 June, not long after the Supreme Court permitted a story test to be held for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, drove by the Sena, to demonstrate its larger part in the Maharashtra Assembly.

The following day, Shinde was confirmed as CM while BJP pioneer and previous Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made vow as the agent CM.

The Shinde government is scheduled to prove its majority in the Assembly on 4 July. The speaker’s election will be held on 3 July, the nomination for which will be filed on 2 July.

–The Shinde faction as majority can approach the Speaker and claim that they are the legitimate Shiv Sena in the House.
