Importance of Vat Savitri Vrat
According to religious stories, Savitri saved her husband’s life from Yamraj. He had also received the blessings of having a son and getting back the rule of mother-in-law. Therefore, married women observe this fast for the long life of their husbands and to get children.
Vat Savitri fasting worship material-
Bena (fan) made of bamboo wood, akshat, turmeric, incense sticks or incense sticks, red-yellow colored kalava, sixteen adornments, water in a copper vessel, vermilion for worship and red colored clothes to be laid in worship, five Kinds of fruits, banyan trees and dishes etc.
Vat Savitri Vrat Puja Method-
