Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Review : The first weak link of ‘Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen’ is its Gorakhpuria story. Akhiraj is a Harishankar Tiwari type leader. But by changing the name of the place to Omkara, what was the matter if the serial became like Omkara film. The makers here have an idea that they think is cool. The idea is that the only daughter of a Pandit leader has fallen for the only son of her father’s accountant.
That too since childhood. When the boy was seven years old. Why is this madness of the girl, no one knows. No one even knows why she went out to study. When she comes back, while leaving her swimming pool, the two collide again. The boy has got a good engineering job. At the behest of his father, he comes to meet Netaji. At the behest of the daughter, Netaji gives a job worth lakhs of rupees to the star of her eye. If the boy refuses, it seems that later he will become Amitabh Bachchan. The web series ‘Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen’ is an average series, for the time passers by watching average stories. There is nothing like doing Dil Bagh in this. The character of the hero is written so weakly that by the time of the third episode, the mind of the viewer starts to slap him. Such weak and cowardly boys do not belong to any district of UP. The series is named after Aanchal Singh in the artist’s department. She has managed to maintain the current in this entire series. There was no need for Tahir Raj Bhasin to do such a childish character at the beginning of his career. This is the second big mistake he has made in his career after ‘Ranjish Hi Sahi’. Shweta Tripathi is the fourth weak link in the series. He has been used as a showpiece in the shooting.
When he wanted, he was punished there. Saurabh Shukla’s work as a tough brahmin politician is amazing. Yes, he seems childish while abusing. Better and more scary dialogues than that have been spoken by the villains of Hindi cinema without abusing them. Surya Sharma, who plays Dharmesh, is a victim of overacting. Whenever Anant Joshi comes on screen, the scenes are scintillating. The pairing of Brajendra Kala and Sunita Rajwar is fine, but the creators of the web series should now bring new people as supporting actors.
And, the fifth weak link of Yeh Kaali Kali Aankhen is its technical team. The series is neither understood by the fans of ‘Mirzapur’ nor those who like the first season of ‘Sacred Games’ in the affair of making the song and music side of the film according to today’s youth.
