Yuzvendra Chahal:-The Haryana Police on Sunday said cricketer Yuvraj Singh was Arrested and Released on bail in a supposed casteist comments case in consistence with a high court request.
Singh was blamed for making casteist comments against one more cricketer during an Instagram visit the year before.
Director of Police (Hansi) Nitika Gahlaut said via telephone, “We just made a conventional capture and he was delivered on bail in consistence of the sets of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.”
“Yuvraj Singh came to Hansi on Saturday and we made a conventional capture. He was delivered on bail bond following a couple of hours,” DSP (Hansi) Vinod Shankar said.
While noticing that the Haryana police is looking for just Singh’s “formal capture” for the situation, the high court had last week coordinated that after getting the test together with the researching official, if the cricketer is captured, he would be delivered on interval bail after outfitting bail and guarantee bonds.
The high court was paying attention to a request by the cricketer looking for subduing of a FIR recorded against him recently under segments of the IPC and the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act dependent on a grumbling by legal advisor Rajat Kalsan at the Hansi Police Station in Hisar.
Kalsan had recorded the police grievance last year, asserting that Singh’s remark had harmed the feelings of the Dalit people group and an enormous number of individuals had watched the video via web-based media.
Communicating lament over the remarks, Singh had prior tweeted, “I get that while I was having a discussion with my companions, I was misjudged, which was inappropriate. Notwithstanding, as a mindful Indian I need to say that in the event that I have unexpectedly offended anyone’s feelings , I might want to communicate lament for something similar.”
